Effective date: July 19, 2026
Tempo is built on a simple premise: your patterns are nobody's business. This policy is short because there is very little to disclose — Tempo does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Ever.
Tempo is published by Mathieu BOLARD ("we", "us"). Contact: mathieu.bolard+tempo@gmail.com.
Everything Tempo processes stays on your iPhone. The app has no server, no user accounts, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party code. The app's networking capability is limited to Apple's own App Store services for handling purchases (see section 6).
Nothing. Tempo's App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.” We cannot see your data, we hold no copy of it, and we could not hand it to anyone if asked — it exists only on your device (and in your own encrypted device backups, which you control through iOS).
All reminders (check-ins, transition alerts, the evening journal nudge) are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server and no push tokens are created.
Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We receive no payment details and no personally identifying purchase information. Apple's handling of that data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Tempo is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children, and since no data is collected, no children's data is collected either.
If we ever change how Tempo handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above, and material changes will be called out in the app's release notes. The on-device principle is the product's foundation — a change away from it is not planned.
